Philip talks about extracting the bash history, however, I think it is important to note that although bash is usually the default shell, it is not the only shell.
I switch between bash and zsh. My zsh history is in ~/.zsh_history. I also have the fish shell installed which stores history at ~/.config/fish/fish_history.
So maybe a good idea would be to adjust the script to recurse a user's home directory and copy the contents of any file with 'history' or even 'hist' in the name.
I haven't been watching the videos sequentially so it's possible this was mentioned at some point but I thought it was worth bringing up.
